Hi, my name is Kipp! I'm a German Shepherd that was born on 1/15/2020. I was surrendered to the shelter because my families living situation changed and I wasn't getting along with some of the dogs in the home. I'm a happy dog that always has a smile on my face. I'm okay with some dogs but not others so I'll need to meet any that I'll have to spend time with prior to adoption. I know several commands and am a smart dog. I can be grabby with treats so watch for that if you're offering me one. I have separation anxiety so make sure you have plenty of time to spend with me and can also provide with me adequate exercise. I was diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia so glucosamine and chondroitin supplements are beneficial to me. At this time I'm not on pain medication but I'll need to watched for that as I age. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis.
