Butler 081O

In shelter Dog

Bullard, Smith County, Texas, United ...
Pet name:
Butler 081O
Great Dane
Aiken, SC. (with transport available!)Meet Butler. He's had a rough time in his life. He's 6 years old is is looking for his forever home. He came from an abusive and neglectful home, and is needing a new home because his current owner has a small dog and Butler prefers to not have small dogs bothering him. He IS good with cats though! He does need a home without small children though who are respectful. He's very smart and well trained (knows basic commands!). He LOVES to meet new people and is quick to make friends. He needs to be able to sleep on his own away from other dogs, as he seems to have nightmares and will wake up and accidentally snap until he's reoriented (this is where he had issues with small dogs). He doesn't seem to have a mean bone in him aside from the nightmares- even when other dogs growl at him he ignores them! He's just had such a hard life. Aside from that, he's your typical velcro Dane, he's very loyal, and would love someone to spend time with (and snuggle with)! He's a big couch potato too! Fun fact, he's even good with livestock! Let us know if you're interested in learning more about this sweet and loyal boy. He cannot wait to meet you!For more information, please email us at For an application to foster or adopt, please go to and fill out an app. Thank you so much, we look forward to helping you.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
