“A best friend can have fur and four legs.” Meet George a calm and sweet Pyr. He is terrific on a leash and enjoys his walks. George was born around February 2020, weighs about 72 lbs., and was rescued by the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society from an animal shelter as a stray.

He would do well in a family with older, considerate kids and a large resident canine companion to show him the ropes. A securely fenced yard to run and play would keep him exercised and happy. He is an intelligent boy and needs a confident leader who is familiar with Pyr traits and behavior.
