Description:
Here come the hounds! Do hounds have more fun? Ask a hound owner and they will say yes for sure. The good news is that there is hound heaven coming our way with a wonderful group of hound mixes to enhance the lives of their forever families. Waffles is one such boy. He is a 1 and a half years old and he weighs around 52 pounds. Waffles is a sweet boy and has a streak of adventure in his DNA. He loves to explore and would love a secured place to run around while exploring outdoors. He enjoys spending time with other dogs but has not had the opportunity to meet young children or cats. He has an uncanny ability to jump straight up in the air. It is his way of showing joy. He will need an owner or owners that will give him the time and patience to adjust to a home environment. He will need time and support to reach a level of comfort and security. Other important aspects that will assist Waffles in his quest to be the best canine possible is regular exercise, plenty of socialization and positive reinforcement. Waffles has had kennel experience and therefore crate training should be uneventful. Also, he is working on his house and leash training. He will need his owners to take the reigns and help him in the process to learn all three skills. He is eager to be a success so he will have full bragging rights. It is time for Waffles to shine and he will find that his family is what makes him complete. Don't waste another moment to have this wonderful boy a part of your family and enjoy many years of loving companionship. The adoption fee for Waffles is $450. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24  hours, check your spam folder.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
