COURTESY POST (Northern VA)

Meet sweet George! He is a 5yo, 50 lb hound mix looking for a home to call his own. His new home should be a calm, low-traffic home with adults or older considerate kids ages 13+, someone that is home most of the day (HE LOVES ATTENTION) and ideally a fenced yard, he loves running and sniffing. George LOVES certain cats. Slow intros are a must. He has had canine friends in the past, and has been socialized about dogs but since he's dog-selective, a meet and greet with resident dogs is a must. He does well with low key dogs that mind their business. George is cautious with NEW things, as a proper hound he needs his time to adjust and investigate anything new to him - dogs, places, people or objects.

George is vaccinated, neutered, up-to-date on shots, heart worm negative and house trained.
His adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting this sweet boy, please click HERE.

Note: George is not a LOVEPAWS dog. We are courtesy posting him, so all adoption applications will be shared with Laura and she will reach out directly to you. It may take her up to 5 days to reach back out to you due to her schedule, but we promise sweet George is worth the wait.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
