Pet name:
Hound, Terrier, Mixed
Take a look at this face. You can see he has sweetness written all over him. He is a bundle of love and ready to meet his forever human family. This is Ike and he is a 1 year, 9 month old hound mix weighing around 52 pounds. He is a great boy ready to go on adventures with humans.Ike likes to explore but also is content to hang out by his human's side. He gets along well with other dogs but has not had an opportunity to be introduced to young children or cats. He has a medium energy level so playtime with others works well in working off his energy level. Canine siblings could also help with that task as well as doggy daycare or trips to the local dog park. He is a bit laid back so there will be plenty of rest and relaxation time as well. His down time can be filled with lots of snuggles and love.Ike aims high and wants to master his house, crate and leash training. He wants to be a great canine housemate and his training is important to him. With this family assisting him along the way, he will master his skill set in a short amount of time. Ike is the real deal with all his love and sweetness to offer his for forever family. He will need a family that is dedicated to giving him the time, energy and commitment to assure that he gets daily exercise, lots of socialization and continued training. He has a ton of potential and when his family taps into that potential, they will have an ideal and perfect canine companion.Ike's adoption fee is $450. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today.  A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24  hours, check your spam folder.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
