This good boy is Reggie! He is a 7 year old Lab/Pit Bull mix who weighs about 55 pounds. Reggie is a really great dog who has been at Wish Bone for far too long. He has been patiently waiting for his forever home for over 3 years and sadly, this makes him our current longest resident. All of us at Wish Bone love him dearly, but what Reggie really deserves is a family of his own. Reggie is a happy, friendly guy. He loves going on walks, car rides, and playing with toys. He never says no to a belly rub and always appreciates a good back scratch. Reggie is a playful guy, but he also likes lounging around and cuddling with his favorite people - a comfy couch in his very own home would make him unbelievably happy! Reggie's adopter needs to be dedicated to working with him while also understanding his boundaries. This handsome guy does guard his food, so precautions need to be taken during meal times. Working with a professional trainer is recommended as it may help improve this behavior. Reggie isn't perfect, but who is? He has such a big heart with so much love to give, and he really deserves someone willing to give him a chance. He would do best in a home with no other animals, and no children under the age of 12. Reggie's minimum adoption fee is $95 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
