Click my picture for more info. on me! Meet Orlando! Orlando is a 16 week old mixed breed pup. His momma appears to be a 50-60 pound Retriever mix, but his dad is unknown. Orlando is a playful pup who is pretty big right now and we think that he will reach 50-60 pounds or so when full grown like his mom, but he could get larger. He is in a foster home with other dogs and he LOVES to play with his four legged playmates. However, Orlando had a rough start in life. He was dumped with the rest of his siblings on the road and someone recognized him and was able to tell his rescuer where he was from. His former owner gave momma over, along with the pups, and they started their new journey. Orlando is still very skittish around new people and has a long road ahead of him in order to learn how to trust people. He needs a fenced in yard and he is use to being around kids- but older kids would be best since young kids can be loud and may not give him the space and time that he needs in order to feel comfortable. His family must be experienced with dogs and home during the day in order to spend the most amount of time with him in order to work on socializing him more. We know that he can go far and can learn to trust humans more, but he just needs the chance and the right family! If you are interested in Orlando please fill out an application at  www.fayettehumane.org/adopt/dogapplication Due to COVID-19, we are not able to facilitate meet and greets until a family is approved and then only at the foster family’s discretion. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
