Bob is all healed up and ready for his forever home!! He is an approximately 2 year old lab mix. He came to us late April when we received a plea about a dog lying in a person's acreage who had been hit by a car. He was there for a few days, lying down, unable to walk and had bite wounds all over his body. We are not exactly sure why the finders didn't immediately rush him to an ER vet but when we heard that he was still lying there in severe pain barely moving. He was transported to our vet where he received immediate care, hip surgery and everything he needed. He felt so much better after his care and it was immediately evident what a kind, loving, goofy and playful dog he is! He likes to curl up in your lap and be right with you. We have not had him around other dogs (foster tried once with a friend's dog) but he seemed uncomfortable but we have not pushed it but he has been great with her cat.
He is ideally best as a solo dog, with an adopter who is home a lot. Bob is loving, sweet and caring to all types of humans he comes in contact with per his foster - big/tall men, women and kids. He will be the best "lap" dog EVER!!!
Bob is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption donation is $250.
If you are seeing this post Bob is still available and in need. Please fill out an application as the first step in our adoption process.
