VICTOR NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:Victor     Best Guess for Breed:Lab mix   Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of April 2021     SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 45 lbs   Gets Along With:  Victor does well with other dogs. We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Victor is Looking For:  Victor is so excited to have his own family. He's heard of baskets of toys, belly rubs on demand and long walks to explore his new neighborhood and it sounds AMAZING to him! He'll thrive with a family who can take him on daily long walks, give him daily opportunities for running and playing, and take him to obedience school to help him learn the lay of the land (as all dogs need). What do you say? Is Victor the one you want looking up at you with adoration at the end of a long fun day, begging for scratches and pats? What My Foster Says About Me:  Victor really is a great dog. As good a dog as we've had the privilege of fostering, even though it's only been a few days. He just needs some training and reinforcement. He's 100% a people pleaser and will do best in an environment where there's structure. He's gotten better each day that he's been here and has been SUPER loving and quick to pick up on commends and learn his boundaries. I think once boundaries and rules are established, he will be a dog you can trust to be left alone at the house and come back to it 100% the way you left it. He gets along with our 2 dogs and has been AMAZING. He does not react to dogs, squirrels, cats, or people when we're out for walks and does not tug. Each day that passes, he learns more and more and has been QUICK to pick up on what his boundaries are. We'll continue to work on him and whoever adopts him will truly have an amazing and loving best friend. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
