Everybody goes crazy for a well dressed man. That's Tux! Tux is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and wants to be a lap dog. He is a smart, happy, content, playful adult who just wants to be wherever his people are! He's currently staying in an APA! foster home and is showing that he'll make a quick transition to his new home. Tux is very smart; he has wonderful manners and has been very well behaved in the house. He's housebroken and has had no accidents. He's trustworthy and hasn't gotten into any trouble, even when he's home alone. You'll find Tux to be a fantastic walking companion. He gets excited to go for his morning neighborhood walk and has great leash skills. He walks a few miles each day so he'll help you get in some extra exercise. Once back at home he enjoys a nice nap in the sun in the backyard. He's able to keep himself entertained by playing with his toys. Tux likes to toss and chase racquetballs, it's especially fun if you throw them for him! He also has his favorite rope chew toys and the stuffed fabric toys with the squeakers. He likes to have a basket where he can keep his toys organized so that he has easy access to whatever he feels like playing with next! Ultimately, Tux is a people-lover who is definitely happiest when he has his human(s) with him. He loves the people in his home, and has never met a stranger! Tux enjoys going for car rides, watching the world go by. As long as his people are close by, he'll be happy and content. And his people-pleasing attitude helps him learn rules and new commands quickly. Tux's personality will provide an even keel to your household. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household, though he'd like to be surrounded by as many people as possible. He is a sweet, loveable, happy boy who just wants everyone to love him back! A yard where he can get some extra exercise and sunbathing would be ideal. And don't forget, when you adopt from APA! you'll also be helping the next dog who can join us! Come meet Tux today!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
