  Gets Along With:  Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.  
     
  Currently Living at:  DC area foster home
 
  Special Adoption Considerations:  Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.   
  This Adorable Pup is Looking For:  This fabulous fluffball is one of a litter of ten: Jacki, Joanne, Jon, Jeni, Jan, Jasmine, Jimmy, Jacob, Jannick, and Jason. They all have enjoyed growing up together in their big puppy pile, but now they're eagerly looking forward to going their separate ways and getting their very own humans. This is what they want in their homes: Cuddles and snuggles, lots of them! Ditto play time - lots of it! Warm laps to sleep in between rounds of play time. And as they grow older - walks around the block, farther out in the neighborhood - and explorations of the world! The beach, the mountains, all the adventures you can dream up - your pup is right there with you. Oh and obedience school too!

 What My Foster Says About Me: Jon probably has the most energy of the litter or he is just very curious and can't wait to get out and about in the world! He sits with his head between our deck posts watching all the big dogs walk by. He loves chasing and being chased, romping and wrestling with his brothers and sisters and whenever possible doing this in the grass. Jon is very social and busy so his forever home could be an individual or a couple, a family with 2 and 4 legged children as long as they're active and like to play in the backyard, take hikes, walks or trips to dog parks etc.
 Puppy Vetting Requirements:  Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.    
     
  Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 11/7/21. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date.  
     
  Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!    TO ADOPT:  The adoption fee for this dog is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online  HERE  .
