Description:
Joseph might have an idea of just how handsome he really is, but he would love to go home with you and be told every day as a reminder! He was found stray but is social, friendly, and trusting of humans - he just might be a little pushy with his food towards other animals. He did test positive for FeLV, so he would need to be the only cat in your home or live with other cats that also have tested positive.
Joseph is a gentle soul. He is always calm and loves to be scratched under the neck and on his belly. He is also a little scaredy cat so weird noises and water will make him run. He will sit on your lap and let you pet him or you can play with a wand toy together. He is really the perfect family cat and companion!
**Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that attacks and weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. In the past, cats with FeLV in shelters were euthanized as soon as they were diagnosed. PAWS takes a different stance: we enable FeLV+ cats to live out their lives in loving homes. For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!**
