Birthdate: October 2020 Due to COVID-19 we are currently modifying our adoption process.  In order to safeguard exposure to the virus, all our cats are in foster homes.  Complete and submit the Adoption Application online, include the pet's name (NO NUMBERS).  If the pet is available, and your Adoption Application is approved or being considered, an AAS representative will call you.  APPOINTMENTS ONLY You wanna know what makes me so special? First off, I'm a good looking dude who is super loving, friendly and with just the right amount of silly.  I have a bold and brightly colored orange coat with creamy white boots and big curious eyes - but it's really my personality that makes me a star. I am definitely an expert on toys.  I like my toys noisy, such as balls with bells, squeaky toys, paper bags and of course, catnip scented ones. What you should know about me and I don't think it's such a big deal, is that I recently lost my vision.  I'm still a regular kitty and my loss of vision doesn't affect me from finding my food bowl, finding my litter box or playing with all my buddies.  I am adjusting quite nicely and I rely more heavily on my sense of smell, hearing and my whiskers. You should know that because I have no vision, it will take me a little time to be comfortable in my new home.  But don't you worry cause I've got a solution for that -  a kitty buddy.  I just love other cats and what's better than having a best friend to hang around with! I believe (especially in my case) that kitty buddies are like streetlights along the road - they light up the path and make the walk worthwhile. You can fill out an application for MARS at the Aventura  Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406. Petsmart employees are not familiar with the cats available through Adopt A Stray.  Please contact Adopt A Stray directly. Learn more about Adopt A Stray by visiting our website www.adoptastray.ws.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
