The Stark pups are ready to play!

This litter is just adorable and ready to steal someone’s heart away! If you are a fan of the popular TV fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” or the novels “Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin you will recognize the characters these pups were named after. The litter is two beautiful girls – Sansa and Ayra and three handsome boys – Robb, Jon, and Bran. We are thinking these sweet pups are a Terrier and Heeler mix.

They’re typical puppies with typical puppy behavior - playing, chewing, playing, jumping, playing...well, you get the picture! As they are still so young, they haven’t started on “big dog” skills like house training, crate training, and leash training but think they will pick these skills up quickly as they seem very smart.

The pups love all people including kids and are gentle and playful with their foster family’s 3-year-old child. They haven’t been exposed yet to many dogs other than their mom and their foster’s family dog but they definitely love to play with them when given the chance. The pups haven’t yet met cats. All the pups are pretty quiet but you might hear them bark when playing.

They each will need an adopter who has the time, energy, and patience to commit to their training, and who has plenty of time for exercise and play - all those things that make raising a puppy a lot of work, but with the huge reward of an awesome canine companion. Attending puppy obedience training is a must and will help solidify your pup’s social skills, boost his or her self-confidence, all while learning basic commands and having fun!

Stark Pups’ Story: The mom of these happy pups was found as a pregnant stray. She was taken in by a loving family that is now fostering mom and her pups and all are doing great!
