From Ricky's foster:

I have an updated description for this amazing little man. He's really such an incredible companion

Meet curious, cute, active, cuddly, Ricky! We think he is a hard-coated jack Russell terrier mix with quite the blossoming personality to boot. Shy at first--give a non-aggressive growl/grumble--and once he warms up to you he's an at your side bonded pal. Treat and food incentivized, being trained on snap/clicks, unconditional love, zen-like meditative energy, and with positive reinforcement and stern non-yelling "no" only. He knows "sit" voice and hand command and he's excellent on leash with corresponding "let's go" hand commands to guide walk when his stubborn side comes out. He's also been excellent at responding to "up", and we're working on stay, down/off. He's being trained to not jump on furniture unless invited with a command and is learning "to your bed" for his crate and his doggie-bed. This past week he's learned "potty" voice command when outside for pee/poops, has shown to now be nearly full housebroken, and has adjusted to being on a schedule really well. He does a nervous pee in the house only if he gets scared by a new person that enters the house that isn't his bonded human and also has started exercising his voice (low grumble bark, not a howl) at animals outside or other humans in the house or outside. He's sweet with children and loves the outdoors!

AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
