Look at this boy!! His name is Remi. And he is looking for a home. He was saved by a local (Sheboygan area) Good Samaritan and supporter of our rescue. We would love to help her and Remi find a home! Remi has an approximate date of birth of 9/26/2019; so he is a young dude. LET’S LEARN ABOUT REMI: Remi is a sweet, cuddle bug who loves to be near you, and underneath the blanket if you will let him. He has been through a two-week board and train to work on his play, as well as been through the good canine citizen training (passed the test). He is a happy, bouncy dog who loves your attention and affection. If he is able to sleep in bed with you, he will curl up as close as possible, usually pushing his head into you. Remi went through a period of rapid weight loss, where he was down to about 28 lbs. He is now on specialty food, two medications that are given twice a day, gained some weight (still a small boy just under 40 lbs) and is ready for a home!!! He is now getting that spunky, excitement and learning/remembering how to play. While he loves EVERYONE, he is a little leery of men when he is not with his momma. Remi likes other dogs, but he has to get used to them. He is not dog aggressive but his start to life was not the greatest so he takes a little time to warm up. Another dog who would be similar size to him would be great for him to continue building confidence and learning how to be a dog. not been cat tested older kids only due to his energy level active lifestyle a fenced yard is a plus Help us help Remi!! FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
