Look at that sweet face and those eyes! Harris is a happy fellow. He loves to play chase with the other kitties running through the house with glee. His favorite toys are the Star Chaser and the Undercover Mouse — he seems to love toys that go around and around. Harris is also fascinated by TV and likes to sit on the arm of the sofa watching it, although he does not seem to have a show that he favors. He also loves to watch the moths flying against the window at night. He meows at them but I am not sure what he is saying. As you can see Harris is a handsome Turkish Van mix. His fur is short, sleek and very soft. His eyes are a stunning light blue green. He was rescued from a home with too many animals. He has been around dogs. Harris is a sweet low-key cat looking for a loving home.
Harris is a shy, sensitive fellow – he would do best in a quiet home, not a loud active one. It will take him several weeks or longer to feel comfortable. He is currently not a lapcat – he can be quietly approached for petting, on his own terms. But I truly believe that once he gets into his forever home, he will blossom. It will just take time, patience and love.
