*** Garland is being fostered in NJ, he is enjoying his time with our SoCo Alumni Breezy. He is super smart and a lot of fun to be around. He gets along great with other dogs & cats too. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. If interested in adopting Garland, please submit an application at If pre-approved to adopt Garland, you'll be able to meet him at our next adoption event scheduled for the Aug 7th weekend at All Good Dogs in Monmouth Junction, NJ.***   Garland came to SoCo along with two other dogs. This trio of dogs were former strays who were given shelter and some care by the family that found them. As Garland and his companions became too large for their living quarters, the family also realized that they could no  longer provide them with the time and care that they needed and decided to re-home them.    Garland is the happiest boy who wants to be right with his person, as close as possible. He enjoys slow walkies, but he’s not up for a 5k. He never pulls on the leash and walks right beside you the entire time. Garland likes to play, but he prefers a short romp followed by a good nap. This guy loves other dogs and is super friendly with all sizes of friends; there’s no aggression at all in this love bug. If you’re looking for a sweet pup to snuggle and cherish, Garland is the guy for you Garland would do well with any type of family and in any setting. He’s just happy to sit on your foot (that’s his favorite spot) and look at you in adoration.   Garland has been neutered, received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and kept on his monthly preventatives. He may require house training.   To adopt Garland, complete an adoption application at

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
