Could you give these sweet seniors their happiness back? These poor girls have had it rough lately. When their owner passed away, the family dumped them at a high-kill shelter where they had little chance of adoption. Shyanne (black) was scheduled for euthanasia the next day when she was tagged by Texas Muttley Love Dog Rescue. When we heard her heartbreaking story and learned she had a sister, we just had to reunite them. They are a bonded pair and are being adopted together for a single fee. These girls are heartworm negative, fully vetted, and housebroken. If you are looking for easy keepers, these girls are for you!
Shyanne is a spayed female American Staffordshire mix, approximately 9 years old. She is gentle and sweet and definitely the more chill of the two dogs. When she first came to her foster’s home, she was timid, but has warmed up considerably. She loves to just rest her head in your lap while you drink in her sweet brown eyes. She is shy, living up to her name, but still does little bounces of excitement at dinner time or when her person comes home.
Isabell is also a spayed American Staffordshire. The shelter aged her at 9 as well, but she seems younger. Isabell is happy go lucky and incredibly well behaved. You can tell her owner invested time in her training because she knows sit, stay, and come and quickly obeys. Her favorite activity is rolling in the grass first thing in the morning. She adores treats and head pats.
Both girls are very focused on their human, making their abandonment that much sadder. Their foster says that they wait outside her bedroom if she closes the door. These pups just want a home where they can snuggle on the couch and get belly rubs. If you can give them the second chance they so greatly deserve, please apply to adopt them today.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
