Mia is an adorabull pittie\xa0mix who is 6 years old. She is a local save who sadly needed to be rehomed when her young human sibling developed allergies. Though they tried to keep her - utilizing daycares, walkers, and friends -\xa0Mia needed to be somewhere with consistency.

After the trauma and confusion of so many changes in caregivers,\xa0she is weary of strangers and takes\xa0time to warm up. Once Mia sees you as a friend, there’s no turning back. She’ll lean into you, smother you in kisses, and roll over for belly rubs. She gently takes treats, showing off all the tricks she knows like sit, paw, other paw,\xa0and down. With some of the softest fur we’ve ever felt, Mia is content to snuggle up on the couch while you pet her. Mia is dog friendly with proper introductions and tolerant dogs; she can be a little much for others.\xa0

Mia has completed training with\xa0203k9\xa0in Stamford to\xa0get over her fear of strangers...and she is\xa0doing great so far! We are looking for adopters who are willing to keep up the training methods she has learned at 203k9 to enable her to live the happy, well-adjusted life she deserves.\xa0
