Stella Jean, 10 weeks, female, Kelpie mix, expected to be a large breed when full grown. She is in a foster home in Houston, Texas and can transport to an approved adopter.
Stella Jean and her brother were born in an abandoned lot next to a small shelter in Houston. A good Samaritan was able to eventually catch them and they are now in a foster home.
Stella Jean is a typical puppy who is energetic and then will crash out. She loves toys and running around with her brother. She is a little more independent than her brother.
She is not fully housebroken or crate trained. She is getting the hang of the dog door. She will need a patient home who will work with her in these areas.
She does need another dog in the home to continue her socialization and dog manners. She also needs a fenced yard.
If you are ready for the joys and challenges of raising a puppy into adulthood- we hope you apply.
Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered.
*Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dogs exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
