Kit Kat has been fully trained by Mississippi Therapy Animals for obedience and specialized therapy K9 training including crisis response. Kit Kat has professional therapy volunteer visiting has passed the American Kennel Club CGC and therapy evaluations.

Our goal is to find a sponsor for Kit Kat for our charity’s mission and or in home puppy raiser sponsor to help our charity’s mission. The individual or family selected would assist in helping us fulfill our mission to reach more through volunteering in the community with a therapy K9, or just simply sponsoring a volunteer therapy K9. Volunteering with a therapy animal can be very therapeutic for you and or your family as well.

It has taken alot of time and effort to train each therapy dog in our organization (ranging from $8,000-$15,000 worth of training time/cost of feed, healthcare ect) In order to be considered for adoption you must meet some requirements and be willing to volunteer eight hours per month at msta events with our therapy animal and meet a fundraising goal to adopt. We look forward to speaking with you and sharing our mission and see if you and your family are the perfect fit for one of our dogs.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
