Description:
This pretty girl is named Zoey

Zoey is a 2 year old Belgian Shepherd mix. She is fully grown at approx 55 lbs and 60 cm tall (floor to shoulder).

Zoey was found homeless on the streets of Guadalajara, being aggressively chased by male dogs. She looked very frightened and stressed, trying to find refuge. The rescue came to her aid and Zoey is now living at a foster home where she is safe, nourished, and getting lots of TLC.

Zoey has a sweet, tender, loving personality. She loves to interact with people and just wants to be loved in return. There is never a shortage of affection with Zoey - she melts into your arms when shes getting hugs, pets, and kisses.

Zoey is an intent listener and very obedient with her caregivers. She already knows hed basic commands and is almost fully hosue trained. Since this breed of dog is known for their intelligence and eagerness to learn, Zoey will flourish with obedience training classes. Mental stimulation games will also be fantastic for her. Shepherds also love physical activity so Zoey would make a great companion for an active person/family. She has a blast running around the big grassy yard at her foster home.

Despite her history with aggressive male dogs, Zoey gets along wonderfully with the other doggies at the shelter. She interacts respectfully & personably with dogs. She plays happily with them and shares her toys like the polite little lady she is. She does not show any jealousy, aggression, or territorial behaviour with her four-legged friends.

Zoey does not have any experience with cats as there are no cats living at her current home.

Zoey has been vet checked, spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and gets flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. No known medical issues.

We would love to scoop Zoey out of the shelter setting and find her a loving home of her own. When her perfect adopter is found, Zoey will make her way to Canada to join her forever family.

**PLEASE NOTE: Zoey is currently in Mexico. There will be an additional $225 transport fee for transportation to Canada. This will be discussed upon approval.**
