Description:
Sieva is a 61 lb female shepherd/lab mix with a snaggle tooth, floppy ears and a coat that’s soft and fuzzy. She was surrendered to the rescue alongside her puppies who have since been adopted.

We don’t know much about her history but could take a guess that she had a rough start in life. She had heartworms when she first came to us, which have since been treated fully, and a tail that looks like it may have been poorly cropped ¾ of the way down.

She’s a smart gal, who loves to learn new training tricks, play with a ball, and snuggle up next to you while you watch TV. She aims to please and is learning something new every single day.

Because of her rough start, Sieva has needed some time to go through behavioral rehabilitation, and learn how to be a dog again. She still struggles with other animals, and would do best in a home without other animals or children present.

Her ideal adopter would be someone who is patient, loving, kind and would continue her training. Structure, and routine help her thrive, and be the happy go lucky dog that she wants to be.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQs and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
