You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Apply online:, Gyspy! Although she wasnt interested in hunting she is interested in playing with dogs and making new friends. Gypsy is settling into her foster home and getting acclimated to being indoors and house training. So far she loves her new dog friends and seems to ignore (kinda fearful) of the resident cats, Gypsy lived her life on a chain and is looking for a new start! She is sweet and a bit shy at first but warms up. Another dog and a fenced yard would be ideal for her.Her adoption includes spay, microchip with lifetime registration, 4dx SNAP test, DHLPP, Bordetella and rabies and parasite control. Also included in the adoption are 30 days of Pet First Pet Insurance, and Petcos Free Welcome to the Family Program. This program supports All New Pet Parents and offers Free resources, more than $650 in savings, and 24/7 support.Apply online: contact us, please send an email or FB message to:Email: info@highlandcountyhumanesociety.orgFaceBook:

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
