Milton, DE, 19968
Pet name:
Dog Name: Ava

Breed: Boxer mix

Sex: Female

Age: 1yr and 1 month

Weight: 40lbs

Medical Needs: None

Housebroken: almost if shes taken out on a regular schedule, shes fine (note: she has never made a mess in her crate). Shes getting better with telling us, just not quite all the way there yet

Crate trained: needs a little persuasion to go in. Once in, if she doesnt see you, shes fine but if she can see you, will take a few minutes for her to settle down

Good in the car: yes, she does great in the car

Good on a leash: she is EXCELLENT on a leash! Virtually no pulling

Energy level: medium to medium high. Shell play hard and then nap hard

Need a fenced in yard: fenced in yard would be best bc shes got a little bit of higher energy than most but if shes walked often enough for long enough, she should be fine

Dog Friendly: yes but timid when meeting them. May not do well with a loud, in your face dog

If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No.

Cat Friendly? Unknown

Kid Friendly: yes

If yes, whats the youngest child youd recommend they be placed with? Older than 5 as she likes to jump

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Ava is the sweetest dog ever! She will crawl right into your lap and kiss you all over. Shes great with meeting new people but a little timid with dogs. She has a bad habit of jumping up on you so we are working on that. She does know sit and we are working in stay and how can you not love that under bite?!

Fosters Location: Camden

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
