I adore GINGER! With her balding, itchy hind quarters, still she puts her best foot forward and greets all with a huge smile coupled with a warm, loving feel," comments a Volunteer having just spent time with her. Ginger is a doll baby folks. This lovely ginger and white labby mix does her best to grab your attention as folks walk past her kennel. She so wants to meet YOU and you and you! Her sweet, doting personality quickly came through as we nicely walked to our photo area. It doesnt take much to make this girl happy. A hug, some lap time, a few loving pets on her back and shes soaking up your love as if its the best thing since sliced bread! Arriving as an owner surrender, shes seen better days as she was pretty thin and mange/flea allergies had sadly created a lot of hair loss and irritation in her hip/back side area (all very treatable and already shes looking much better!). Ginger takes everything in great stride though and in a former life perhaps she even worked at a spa giving facials! She loves giving her humans plenty of kissy, face detailing! Ginger has found a friend and perhaps love here at the shelter in beautifully sharing her quarters with an XL size doggy. Its wonderful to see her happy and smiling and engaging with all. Her sunny, upbeat personality and overall very pleasant disposition make her an ideal candidate for a home with slightly older kids (We dont want her knocking the wee ones over!) and add a dog friend or two and let the fun begin.
