Dominica, meaning of the world was a stray that was found outside of a Taco Bell near a highway in Gonzales in September 2020. Someone reached out to us and one of our volunteers was able to go out and catch her. We estimate her to be around 1 year old. Her name is Italian meaning Belonging to the World. Her coat was in pretty rough shape, but she looks so much better now! She was pretty shy at first but has settled in a bit at her foster home. She needs a large & deep litterbox, and nothing soft on the floor or she will consider that a litterbox too. :-D She loves her toys (especially for the foraging type) and her hay box. She has been around gentle dogs and does fine. She is a pretty independent girl but is very fun to watch and interact with.
