Description:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If youre working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Kenzie is about 1 year old as of May 2022. Kenzie came to us with 6 kittens and some typical health issues related to living outside and taking care of her babies. She went through a series of treatments and had herself a wonderful home yet she continually cried throughout the night and could not be comforted. She came back to us and certainly was a demanding, talkative little girl and we went through some behavioral training with her and she has learned some manners. Her family can expect a sweet, snuggly, expressive, loving beautiful girl who will exist with other cats yet will be bossy. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

$75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year)
$50 - Adult (1 Year +)
$25 - Senior (7 Years +)
$0 - FIV +
There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)
If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying.
We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please dont hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.
Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we dont have a location with set hours.

If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at
www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption
and a volunteer will contact you promptly.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
