This very beautiful girl is SAPPHIRE and she is a mellow girl. That being said... she is still a young dog who needs some room for exercise and play. She was recently rescued from a high kill southern shelter and Sapphire is getting ready to take her freedom ride to PA!  She is 1-2 years of age and weighs 45-50 pounds.  She does have a lot of energy and will need a home where she can get a lot of exercise. Another doggie friend in the home would be ideal. Our best guess is that Sapphire is a Lab/Catahoula (could possibly even be English Setter or Aussie?) mix but only a DNA test can determine her true breed makeup.  She does have high prey drive so probably no cats for this young lady. She is spayed, current with vaccines and micro-chipped.  Sapphire recently tested negative for heart-worm disease and she is on preventatives. Sapphires suggested adoption donation is $350 in order to help the rescue recover the cost of their ever increasing vet bills.
