Aura TX

In shelter Dog

Boonton, NJ, 07005
Pet name:
Aura TX
Aura and her tiny pup Sprite were surrendered to the Rio Grande City shelter in Texas. NorthStar pulled mom and daughter to safety and placed them in a safe and loving foster home.

Sprite was born around April 30th and she now weighs about 7 pounds. She is coming into her own and loves to play. She is sweet and friendly and like most puppies, she has a short attention span. Shes still skittish & on the submissive side (belly up), like her mama, She has been going outside on her own to potty & only tinkles occasionally inside.

Mama Aura is about a year and a half old and weighs about 15.5 pounds. She was heartworm positive and has been treated for this condition in Texas. Aura is really quiet and on the submissive side (goes belly up). She acts like she doesnt need to be the center of attention but she does like some. Shes a quiet little lady who does like playtime.

Mother and daughter will be coming to NJ to find wonderful & loving forever homes. If you are interested in either of them, please fill out an application at and be sure to mention the name of the dog you are interested in meeting.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
