As a Foster, you have FIRST CHOICE to adopt!

Contact could take up to 48 hours (Volunteer organization)***
Thank you! :)

Meet MILLICENT! We do not know much about this sweet girl yet except that she is guessed to be a Chihuahua / Doxie (Chiweenie) mix, is an adult, is sweet, and is good with other dogs.

Millicent is at a kill-facility in a rural Animal Control in KY and will be coming to Chicago on Saturday, 17 September. A Foster home is needed for her arrival. This darling girl will need to decompress for a few days and needs love and understanding while we learn more about her personality.

A requirement of her Foster home is the willingness to take her to any vet appointments at our vet in downtown Chicago.

Please open your heart and home to precious Millie and be part of her journey to a Forever Family. Who knows - that could be YOU!

NOTE: We do NOT adopt out of state. Our range is no further than 25 miles North / Northwest from Chicago and 25 miles South from Chicago. Exceptions ONLY in certain cases where a sweetie has issues (medical / behavioral / special needs) and we have had him / her for a longer time. We will then travel to the Moon for a Forever Family!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
