Penny is an older short haired chihuahua, estimated between 8-10. She was confiscated from a home where she was being neglected and mistreated. Penny can be shy at first is very loving with people but is scared of men with beards, so a female only would be ideal. She is a small dog who doesn’t need a lot of space, just some attention and an outside area to play in. She really loves being outside, so having consistent access to a yard would be best. She is fully vetted. Penny needed extensive dental work, but is in great shape now! Penny is hoping to find a quiet home with no small children and a patient owner who will help her gain confidence and learn she can trust people. She would make the right person a great companion. Her adoption fee is $200. Local adopters only.
