Posted 11/28/2021 Jasmine was surrendered because her dad passed away and mom was in a nursing home. She had been left alone in the home for some time only to be left out once a day. She is not housetrained totally but that will come in time. She can be a bit spooky with people she does not know, so we are not placing with children at all. She does need a seasoned pet person as she can be a bit taxing and challenge you.. She can be a bit if a rescource guarder...her crate, her food and sometimes people.. She would be great with an older person or couple since thats what she is used to. She does crate well, but would do best as an only dog. She is with other dogs but it depends how the introduction happens. She is almost 9 years old but can be active, she is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors program. Her adoption fee is $200.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
