Meet Erica!

We rescued one-eyed Erica on July 3rd from Desert Hot Springs Shelter, where she ended up after being found as a stray. She is an adorable sweetheart who loves sitting on laps and being cuddled. She is potty trained, good with other dogs big and small, and isnt interested in cats! Erica is 12 years old, weighs 11 lbs., and is on the lookout for a Forever Family. Might it be you?

Erica enjoys going on our weekly Sunday hikes, and she has great leash manners and and walks nicely alongside other dogs. Erica appreciates when her hiking partner brings treats, and she takes them very gently. Erica went on a fun solo park date with a volunteer, who shared afterwards: "Erica is so sweet! She loved to roll around in the grass, burrow her face into the grass, and snooze on a blanket. Erica let me pick her up and carry her, and she even snuggled next to me. Erica was great in the car and enjoyed an ear rub on the ride."

Erica went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about what she is like in a home setting. Her Fling Family reported that Erica was a cuddly love bug who did well with their two senior dogs, was well-behaved during bath time, and enjoyed snuggling in blankets. Erica was a quiet houseguest, only giving a little whine to remind her Fling Family it was time to feed her!

Ericas Fling Family shared: "Erica is so very cute and sweet! She loves to snuggle right next to her person. She went from dog bed to another dog bed throughout the day, finding the most comfy spots. Erica slept in our bed at night. Shes pretty much the most chill dog Ive ever met!"
