Hi there! My name is Josie! I LOVE to be pet (Ill do anything for a belly rub) I enjoy relaxing on my dog bed and watching a movie with you, snuggling, and being your mini shadow, following you everywhere and anywhere. I enjoy playing with squeaky toys, and playing hide and go seek. I am crate and potty trained. 

I like to go for short, daily walks. I do well with other small dogs and cats, but Id be just fine being the only pet in the home. I have a very spunky, larger than life personality.

I am currently working on weight loss to each my ideal weight of 8#. My potential adopter will need to continue working with me to keep me on the path to a healthy body weight. Right now I eat a prescription weight management diet called w/d. 

I do have grade luxating patellas on both knees, meaning my knee caps do move out of place. They are currently being medically managed with a medication called Rimadyl (a doggy safe pain medication) and a joint supplement. I recently had a dental cleaning with 14 extractions, a full senior blood panel and a heartworm test. 

I will require regular grooming as my hair does grow long around my face and paws (I will also need to have my anal glands expressed by a vet as I have had a history of anal gland abscesses.) 

I cant wait to find my FUREVER home!
