Cocker Spaniel

Pretty Lilac is a combination of brains AND beauty--Lilac is a champ at several commands: Sit, Stay, Come, and High Five. Shes pretty interested in FOOD (but who isnt) and lives for affection. She wants to be near her person all the time but doesnt have separation anxiety. Lilac was pretty unsure of her surroundings at first, so it took her several days to get to where she was comfy, but now that she is, shes a happy girl. Shes a very quick learner! She does like to bark at cats and people who walk by but thats a work in progress. She is not a fan of other dogs. Lilac is about 4 years old and would do best in a home with either no small kids or older kids only. Interested in adoption? Please read the following-- we have an application process--you can find that application on our website at We do not adopt outside the state of Texas. You must have an approved application to set up a meeting with a dog--this is done at the fosters discretion. If you have questions regarding the adoption process or a dog in particular, please EMAIL us at Phone calls about specific dogs will not be answered as email is our preferred method of communication. Thank you for your interest!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
