Heartworm Prevention given on the 16th of each monthUPDATE: Penny is doing very well in her foster and has already lost 2 lbs. She is starting to get her girlish figure back. She loves short walks and snuggling on the couch with you. Penny also knows how to use the doggy door and would benefit in a home with one. Penny would prefer to sleep in the human bed and hates sleeping in her crate at night. She gets along fine with the other dog in the foster home who is larger than her and she has done well with other dogs she has met. She has met some children and is great with kids who are gentle with her. She is the perfect guard dog and will bark when she hears the doorbell and hears your phone ringing.
Sweet Penny is a new arrival to CTDR after having been surrendered by her owner due to her owner moving into an Assisted Living Center. Penny is a beautiful senior girl, who will need to go on a diet once she gets into a foster home. She has had most of her vetting done and now just need a foster and a forever home in which to live out the rest of her golden years..
