Meet Coco Marie! 12-year-old Coco Marie was entrusted to us through our Final Wish Program on July 17th. She was adopted from an LA City Shelter last year to be a constant companion for her mom, but as her moms dementia worsened, Coco was not getting the care she needed. Thankfully, family stepped in and reached out to us because they wanted the best possible placement for Coco Marie long term! She loves to play and even does tug still! She previously lived with a cat and other dogs. Coco Marie recently returned from a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about what shes like in a home environment. Her Fling Mom shares: "Coco Marie is a very sweet girl! Shes housetrained, good in a crate when I am at work all day, and can hang with other dogs just fine when Im home. Shes very curious and a little chase-y with my kitty, but takes correction well. Coco does have guarding issues when it is meal time or snacks are out. I feed her completely separate from the other critters and make sure no little bits are left out for a possible rumble. Shes comfortable using the stairs now and loves going for walks. She rides well in the car, too!" Come meet Coco Marie at Frosted Faces Foundation this weekend during Open House on Saturday and Sunday between 10 AM and 1 PM!
