In shelter Cat

Chicago, IL, 60641
Pet name:
Domestic Short Hair
Gabriella is a young adult cat (around 3 years old) with a pretty calico coat. In June 2022, she sauntered right into the life of a PPAH foster dad. You can’t make this up - Gabriella literally walked into his church during mass, wandered down the aisle towards the alter, and just laid down meowing. She was skin and bones with filthy matted hair. Our foster picked her up and took her home. He oversaw her vetting and has given her much-needed TLC. Over the last couple of months, Gabriella has blossomed into a great cat. From her current foster dad, “Gabriella is a love bug that loves to be wrapped up in a towel and held. She loves kisses on the forehead and slow chin scratches with gentle ear pulling. She has been through a lot and when she was alone with me at the vet; she opened up purrrring and nose butting. She will do well by herself and maybe down the line with another kitty that is not too playful as she only appreciates company from afar. She loves her rattle mice and MILK RINGS till the end of time. A waterfall fountain is a must!”

The ideal home for Gabriella will be with someone who is going to help her open up and learn what it means to be loved. She is eating Weruva wet food and ND Formina Boar and Apple.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
