Mai Tai

In shelter Cat

Cincinnati, OH, 45206
Pet name:
Mai Tai
Domestic Short Hair
Black & White / Tuxedo
Mai Tai is one of a litter of 4 that came to PurrfectFriends with their mama. Mama kitty has been fixed & is in her forever home, now its the kittens turns. 2 have been adopted and now Mai Tai & Stoli are left. They are curious, sweet kittens & love toys. Kitten shenanigans a plenty! Mai Tai loves her fuzzy mouse & carries it around & throws it into the air over & over. Mai Tai is a shy kitty but wants to be a lap kitty so bad! She has blossomed in foster care and purrs, enjoys attention and being petted but on her terms. She would need someone willing to continue to give her time to settle in & build trust with her. MaiTai is such a sweet little girl but avoids being picked up or held. She freely hangs out in the room & seems to thrive on routine - this makes sense because she knows what to expect with routines. Once she trusts you and feels comfortable, she will allow pets, purr & roll over & lick your hand but definitely all on her terms. At this time she is not the the kitty who will come jump into your lap but she is still a nice girl. She is very sweet, is just distrustful of being held. She would probably do best in a home with someone willing to let her be who she is & continue to help her build confidence. Mai Tai is also quite beautiful & exotic looking, so pretty. She likes other kitties & ideally would love a friend to live with. Born likely around March 7, 2021.

They are fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $50 or 2 for $75. They need to be adopted into a home with other cats or with a sibling - thanks! Please fill out our application and please answer all the questions completely if you are interested.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
