Description:
We are in awe of this beautiful green eyed girl. She has had to endure many hardships in her lifetime. She was abandoned in a field with other cats. A rescue group caught her and thought her to be feral so had her ear tipped at the time of spaying...taking a large portion of her ear. She was released back into the colony. Eventually it was discovered that she was not feral but very scared. Going from a home to being tossed outside was too overwhelming for this sweet girl. Marmalade was caught once again and sent to a different rescue. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to anyone, she was now part of a hoarding situation....one of the worst in NWA. Seventy cats were rescued and their living conditions were deplorable. Many were extremely ill resulting in only 35 surviving. Marmalade was one of the lucky ones to survive.

She was sent to a new rescue but did not due well there as by this point in time she was so overwhelmed and scared. We were asked to transfer her to our rescue. She has flourish here. Marmalade head bumps and rubs all over you begging for attention. She acts like she just wants to crawl inside you to be close.

She has learned to play and play she does. We are so proud of her tenacity to make lemonade out of the lemons she was given!! Such a special girl. The combination of lion shaped eyes and her short tipped ear has made it difficult to find her a home... she gives the appearance of being very sad.

Marmalade would need a little settling in time as she has been let down by humans so many times. I tell you she is soo...worth it.

She is spayed, felv and fiv tested negative, microchipped, rabies vaccination, fvrcp vaccination, dewormed, flea treatment.
