Description:
Gelato is the perfect mix between sweet and sassy.
She is an odd ball who does things her own way and loves to be the center of attention. She loves to shower love back to others though, both humans and cats alike.

A few months ago she had an injury, most likely from all fall, that left her back legs useless. After a few weeks of cage rest and medication management, she was back to her old self and regained full use of her legs. She does tend to be a bit clumsy which is how we believe she became injured in the first place so a home without high cat towers, shelves, etc. that she could access would be best.

Gelato would not be a good fit for a family with kids so shes not the one for you if you have or may have kids.
Gelato likes having a feline companion and would need a calm, laidback buddy in the home. If you have a cat matching that description or you would like to adopt a buddy for her let us know!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
