Caterina is an older gal and she was in bad shape when she was brought to YWAC in May. When her foster mom first saw her in her kennel at the shelter, it broke her heart and she was drawn to take her home. At first, when her foster mom pet her Caterina was just bones and almost fell over, but she is eating well now - chowing down on wet and dry food in small amounts throughout the day (despite having all but 4 teeth pulled). Shes gaining weight, and her fur is getting thick and silky. While shes getting healthier, though, she does still have some accidents outside the litterbox and gets an upset stomach occasionally. She is a sweet, loving girl that will sit on your lap, purr up a storm, and even give gentle head-butts. However, she also appreciates her own space sometimes and would prefer to be the only cat in the household if possible. She is looking for a loving forever home with someone who can be patient with her. Use the link above to apply to meet her!
