Pet name:
Domestic Short Hair
foster or foster to adopt needed

Meet Scootsie! Scootsie came to us back in July when she was found outside and unable to use her back legs, severely flea anemic and with an upper respiratory infection. We weren’t sure she would survive but she fought hard and is now doing amazing!
Scootsie is now able to walk but still needs to take things easy and continue to recover. Due to this we are requesting a one level home or where the stairs can be blocked off so she does not have any access.
Scootsie is very sweet but a bit shy and needs a little help socializing. She would do great with a quieter home where she can take the time she needs to rest and recover.
She does enjoy playing and goes wild when she gets a new toy, especially when it has catnip in it!
Scootsie is a wonderful girl and we would love to see her find her forever home!

Prerequisites for a foster to adopt home for Scootsie includes..
• Living within 1 hour of Adams, NY
• a one level home or a home where all stairs can be blocked off
• being willing to transport to appointments at our vet clinic in Adams for follow up appointments until the time of adoption

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
