Chloe is a very special girl who has had a few adventures in her life. Shes approximately 7-8 years old. She is another Cowan colony cat who was left to starve when her caretaker was moved into a long term care facility. She was one of the caretakers favorites and appeared to be the matriarch of the young colony cats. After recovering from a severe upper respiratory infection, she was taken to Beckoning Cat to be spayed and it was discovered that not only was she already spayed, but she has a microchip! Better yet, the microchip was registered and her first owner answered the phone. Unfortunately, they had spayed her 7 years prior and then gave her away to a family in Shamokin. They did not want Chloe returned to them and the family in Shamokin remains unknown. We dont know how she made it from Shamokin to Cowan, but we suspect it wasnt the most pleasant of trips. Luckily, she made it into Cherished Cats Rescue Alliance and we gave her a fresh start. Shes a lovely older lady who is equal parts playful and independent. She loves to climb on a cat tree, scratch on scratching posts, chase toy mice, run through crinkly tubes, and wrestle with her foster mates. "Chloe is one of the most playful adult kitties Ive ever seen in my life!" says her foster mom. Not much seems to phase Chloe! She is up to date on vaccines, had senior bloodwork run at the rescues vet, tested negative for fiv/felv, and is spayed. We cannot wait for Chloe to FINALLY find the forever home she so deserves.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
