Black Velvet

In shelter Cat

Millerton, PA, 16936
Pet name:
Black Velvet
Domestic Short Hair
Coat length:
Our intoxicatingly gorgeous Black Velvet is a total sweetheart with a soft, smooth, sleek black coat that has beautiful red highlights when she is directly in the sunlight! Velvet is great with other cats and dogs and she LOVES people! She will gladly roll over on her back and put her belly in the air for some rubs when she meets you! If you are looking for an easy-going, friendly, sweet girl to love, this is her! You absolutely cant go wrong with this cat! She should do fine in just about any home since her personality is so even-tempered and affectionate! Black Velvet is staying here with her best friend, Ruby, a sassy calico cat that came from the same location as Velvet! We are strongly encouraging that Ruby be adopted out with her best friend, Black Velvet as they love each other very much and lick each other in the face every day! It would really be a shame to break up this friendship! Black Velvet will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption! She was eartipped at her time of spaying due to the fact that she used to live outside on a farm and was fixed during a TNR project before being taken in by us. Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
