Sophie is one of Papas offspring, and she is 3 years old. Mama brought her into the yard once Sophie and her brother, Travis, were weaned, and they could fit in the palm of my hand. I first saw them at the end of January, and they were 2 tiny babies trying to find food in the snow. I always tell her she is brave, because she was the first of that little family to come towards me and allow me to touch her. In fact, the morning I trapped them to have them spayed and neutered, I caught Travis first, and she refused to leave his side. Crouched along the have-a-heart trap, she looked up at me as if to ask me why he was in there. I was able to bend down and pick her up and quickly put her in the carrier.

A white and gray beauty, she is a precious little girl who loves affection and has a beautiful, gentle nature. Once in a while she has slept in my room, and she loves cuddling, and she loves the security and warmth of a home. She adores cat trees, and really enjoys napping on one of the higher places. She is such a good girl -- I just love her, and she deserves to be the queen of her own little castle. I think she would adapt well to a family, and she would probably do best as the only pet in a household.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
