Description:
This is Zoey! She is an approximately 9 year old tabby. After a tearful goodbye, she was surrendered to the shelter when her owners were no longer able to keep her.

Since Zoey arrived at the shelter, she has been a little out of her comfort zone. The shelter lifestyle has not been easy for her to adjust to. It is a much more difficult change for a beloved housecat than it is for most strays.

We were lucky enough to be able to move Zoey a bigger kennel in a quieter room. After the move, Zoey became much more relaxed and is happy to have you visit her. She still gets a little fussy when she spies a neighbor, but she is playful and happy! More often than not, she can be heard meowing down the hallway for your attention. If you hear a thud or two, she can often be found chasing her own tail in circles! Its quite endearing to watch this ol gal have a bit of fun!

If youd be interested in giving this gal a home where she can be herself again, please send us an email/inquiry or call us at (540)-778-2101!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
